Visibility Photographs and Webcams
VIEWS maintains an extensive collection of visibility photographs and images, as well as many webcam resources that demonstrate regional haze conditions and visibility impairment episodes. These images are selected for their relevance to the study of visibility issues and for their usefulness in providing visual motivation for the reduction of regional haze.

IMPROVE Visibility Photographs
Cameras are used at a number of IMPROVE monitoring sites. Images from monitoring sites with over five years of data where selected to capture the range or "spectrum" of visual conditions at each site. These photographs have also been archived on CD-ROMs.
  Class 1 Area Webcams
This page provides links to real-time webcams in many national Class I Areas.  These webcams are useful for documenting ongoing visibility conditions and for identifying the occurrence of haze episodes.
  Forest Service Air Quality Images
This web site provides public access to real-time air quality information collected by the Forest Service. These data are used to monitor air quality conditions in and near Forest Service managed lands with the goal of protecting, and where necessary, working to improve visibility and other resources affected by air pollution. Daily image archives and historical image galleries depict air quality conditions from national forests throughout the United States. Further information on air pollution causes and effects, air quality monitoring goals and methodologies, plus links to other sites of interest are also provided.
