Class I Area Web CamsThe National Park Service and others operate digital cameras at some of the parks. These cameras help educate the public on air quality issues and are useful for documenting the occurrence of haze episodes. Some of these cameras are located near air quality monitoring sites and the camera web pages display other information along with the photo such as current levels of ozone, particulate matter, or sulfur dioxide air pollutants, visual range, and weather conditions. The digital photos are usually updated every 15 minutes, while air quality data values are revised hourly. The name of the Class I Area is a link to its official web sight and the specific location name and small image both link to a sight with a web cam and specific information concerning the designated location. Official National Park Service web cams can be be found on the National Park Service Parknet
