IMPROVE Aerosol Data
The raw IMPROVE aerosol data available in a variety of ASCII files. The data from each IMPROVE monitoring site is also available as an ASCII text file, and can be accessed through the links on the left-hand side of the table below that are labeled "Click Here".
Dataset Description
Latest IMPROVE Aerosol Data These data have passed the Level 0 and Level 1 quality assurance and control procedure conducted by the Crocker Nuclear Laboratory at UC Davis, but have not been QA'ed by the States, Tribes, FLM’s or CIRA.
IMPROVE Network Metadata
 		Monitoring site information including site location, history, pictures, and air quality variables samples.
Location Table Fixed format ASCII table containing monitoring site location data.
Variable Table Fixed format ASCII file with descriptions of IMPROVE measurement parameters including variable abbreviations and units definitions.  Note, some of the variable names have recently changed.  The old variable table can be found here.
Flag Table Fixed format ASCII table containing IMPROVE aerosol data flags.
Calculated Variables Fixed format ASCII table containing descriptions of calculated variables.
Entire IMPROVE Dataset Entire IMPROVE Dataset in a single file (Size: 30 MB, or 150 MB uncompressed)
IMPROVE FTP Site The FTP site where the IMPROVE ASCII data files are stored.
