SITE HISTORY

Site Location: The monitoring site was located in southwestern Washington, approximately 50 kilometers southeast of Tacoma and west of Yakima.

Photographic Station: The camera was located at Paradise Park, approximately 0.5 kilometers south of the visitor center and just north of Highway 706 and viewed The Rockies (~255°), 50.2 km.

Operational Period: The Rockies Vista 06/21/85 – 04/09/95

Data Collection: Photographs were taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily. Approximately 8,000 35mm-color slides of The Rockies Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
