SITE HISTORY
Site Location: The monitoring site was located in the Humboldt National Forest in northeastern Nevada, approximately one kilometer north of the city of Jarbridge in the Jarbridge River drainage.
Photographic Station: The camera was located on a hillside, just east of Elk Mountain and viewed Mary’s River Peak (~226°), 30.5 km.
Operational Period: Mary’s River Peak Vista 09/08/86 – 10/21/94
Jarbridge Mountains 10/24/94 – 04/18/95
Data Collection: Photographs were taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily for a majority of the year with 12:00 only photos taken during the winter months. Approximately 4,000 35mm-color slides of the Mary’s River Peak Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
