SITE HISTORY

Site Location: The monitoring site is located in northern Arizona, approximately 100 kilometers north of Flagstaff.

Photographic Station: The camera is located on the tower at Desert View Point, just north of Highway 64 along the east rim drive and next to the Desert View Point Campground. The camera views Mount Trumbull (~290°), 124.0 km.

Operational Period: Mount Trumbull Vista 09/83 – present

Data Collection: Photographs are taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily. Approximately 14,000 35mm-color slides of the Mount Trumbull Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
