CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK, OREGON Palisade Point Vista
		Photographic Archive 1991 - 1995

SITE HISTORY

Site Location: The monitoring site was located in the Cascade Mountains of southwestern Oregon, approximately 150 kilometers southeast of Eugene.

Photographic Station: The camera was located atop of Crater Lake Lodge on the southwestern edge of the Crater Lake rim and viewed Palisade Point (~42°), 8.88 km. The camera originally viewed Mount Thielsen (~12°), 27.4 km, but was relocated in October 1991 due to lodge renovations.

Operational Period: Mount Thielsen Vista 06/06/85 - 10/23/91

Yamsay Mountain Vista 08/09/87 – 09/01/91

Palisade Point Vista 12/02/91 - 04/03/95

Data Collection: Photographs were taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily. Approximately 3,000 35mm-color slides of the Palisade Point Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
