SITE HISTORY

Site Location: The monitoring site is located in Bryce Canyon National Park in southwestern Utah, approximately 70 kilometers east of Cedar City.

Photographic Station: The camera is located 800 meters south of Rainbow Point atop of Pink Cliffs and views Navajo Mountain (~110°), 130 km.

Operational Period: Navajo Mountain Vista 04/10/84 - present

Data Collection: Photographs are taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily. Approximately 10,500 35mm-color slides of the Navajo Mountain Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
